personally i think both are great and the main reason people talk down on lady gaga is just so they can "prove" to others how much they like another artist, who is supposedly supposed to be some hated rival

or its because lady gaga is really popular, and they want to act "rebelious" by not liking her...even if the only reason they dont like her is just so they can say "i dont like lady gaga"

plus whatever some kesha fans say about haha is also being said by some gaga fans about kesha

i think people should just leave it instead of trying to pick apart another artist just cause they dont like them and want to make it even more known how much they like another artist...
i mean criticism is one thing, but to constantly pick apart an artist and speak harshly just for the purpose of talking down about them is another thing
because you know those same people would throw a fit when ever they hear someone talking that way about their favorite artist (ie. the way some kesha fans put down gaga and call her unoriginal and acting like a freak...but then get pissed when someone says kesha is unoriginal and looks trashy)

i like kesha more, and found that if i listen to lady gaga too much i start to get bored, so i sometimes have to stop listening to her just so it doesnt get to the point where i never want to listen...as opposed to kesha where i could listen to her every day and not get bored
and i do think that lady gaga in recent months has gone a little overboard with stuff (mainly speaking out against a bunch of different issues)
but at the same time, im not going to pick apart everything she does...cause in the end, what really matters is the music they are putting out (since kesha and lady gaga are musicians first and foremost)
and the music they put out is something i like, so thats all i care about

I agree with everything. I honestly have never loved Lady GaGa ... for his extrovert character, for his singing and his way of behaving! I believe his actions are not creative. She is also a self-centered type. I do not know where he finds the desire to show himself in all his videos always and only in costume! Let's say a little 'bare?
On the contrary .... Ke $ ha is fantastic and amazing to her way of singing and being with others, especially with the fans! I love him very much and I hope you do not follow what he does Gaga! Otherwise die of grief!

I totally agree! A few years ago I liked Lady Gaga and some of her songs, but I never liked her style! It's disgusting, did you see her dress made with meat?!? Ke$ha is just sexy, and thats why I love her!

I agree with a lot of what you said.
I discovered gaga at the same time you did and back then you were considered a freak or called stupid or whatever for liking her, but now she`s like the biggest thing out you`re viewed as an alien for not liking her.
I like both her and obviously Ke$ha but neither Ke$ha or the people you mentioned have copied gaga and to be honest from what i`ve seen of gaga in the last few months she`s trying very hard to be the new Madnona.
The other thing i`m not keen on is that gaga uses the lightning bolt symbol which is if i remember rightly was the same as David Bowie used drawn on his face the same too.
Like i say i like both but prefer Ke$ha by far. And i would say she`s the more individual of the two for sure.
And i love the fact that Ke$sha is down to earth and real as well, no hiding behind hype or anything else she`s just straight up in your face and interesting.

Well... I don't think you can even compare them. They always said: Ke$ha is the new Lady Gaga. That's so wrong! They're just two very different artists. I'm a fan of both of them. I've been to on of Gaga's concerts last year and it was amazing. She doesn't want an image... that people can say: That's typical Lady Gaga... You know??? She's inventing herself new like everyday. She calls herself a piece of art. She kind of wants to make a revolution. And Ke$ha is not that complicated. She is wild, hot and just herself. She makes the people having fun and dance and is an entertainer. They are both cool. I don't decide for one of them. The stupid thing is: The people always try to compare things to each other that look similar for the first view.

I like them both equally, but for different reasons. Ke$ha I like because she's down to earth, not afraid to be blunt (and make my mom put her face in her hands at the concert... :3), not the typical mainstream (Mainstream such as Britney Spears, JB, Black Eyed Peas, etc.) song beats and vocals, varied with her songs, and a party girl who's living life by the day. Lady GaGa is fearless with the meaning of her songs, also not the typical mainstream, varied with her songs, and isn't afraid to make a statement using her clothes. Despite what a lot of people think, Lady GaGa is not transgender (she's bi) and Ke$ha isn't drunk (at least... not usually- she acts it well though). I love both of these pop stars, they're my two favorite singers (although Lady GaGa's gotta step up her newer songs) and I think it would be great if they did a song together.
